About the Journal

ANNALS OF THE INSTITUTE OF AMERICAN ART AND AESTHETIC INVESTIGATIONS "MARIO J. BUSCHIAZZO" is a scientific refereed publication released on a yearly (print version) and half-yearly (digital version) basis, incepted in 1948. It publishes original works referred to the history of urbanism, architecture and graphic and industrial design, preferably referred to Latin America; including papers on specific epistemological, methodological or problematic issues arising from completed or ongoing research works that make original contributions to the respective discipline. Taken into consideration are those papers that, besides being founded on rigorous investigations, contribute some critical reflections, original interpretations or innovative discussions, committed with history and design, and that will contribute to consolidate its epistemological bases and to expand the field of knowledge.
