Originality and Affidavit of the Author

All the papers to be sent for publication in ANNALS of the IAA, both articles and reviews, must be absolutely unpublished. While they are the in process of evaluation or edition, they may not be sent to any other publication.

In order to certify their originality status, the authors of the articles sent for evaluation and eventual publication in ANNALS of the IAA must accompany them with an executed Affidavit whereby they expressly state that:

  • The author certifies that the article is original and unpublished and it has not been sent to any other publications, whether print or electronic, national or foreign. The author agrees to assign their copyrights for publication, thus holding the same for further publications after completing the appearance thereof in ANNALS of the IAA.
  • The author certifies that the images accompanying the article are included with the due authorization of its owners.
  • The author acknowledges that ANNALS of the IAA is released from any and all legal and/or economic liabilities eventually claimed by any third parties as to the intellectual property rights over the texts and the images.
