Peruvian architecture critique in the last third of the 20th century

Abstract

The crisis of modernity and the emergence of postmodernity produced a certain need to recover the criticism and theory as an exercise to find alternative paths. In that regard, the participation of prominent Latinamerican architects, who contributed with reflection and outlined alternative approaches to the crisis and recovery of the identity of the architecture of the region was quite remarkable.

The article seeks to recover critical texts written by Peruvian architects in the final three decades of the 20^th century. Not necessarily published in specialized magazines or books or part of books of short circulation, these texts participate in this reflection on architecture and its past, present and future.
